About HypnoFertility
HypnoFertility® is a structured fertility hypnosis method I created in the late 1990s. It combines clinical hypnotherapy with fertility-specific techniques developed over 26 years of private practice. It is the original fertility hypnosis method.
What is HypnoFertility®?
I did. I’m Lynsi Eastburn. I began developing the method after working with women who came to me for needle phobia during fertility treatment and noticing the profound effect hypnosis was having on their outcomes. I’ve been practicing, teaching, and refining HypnoFertility® for over 26 years.
Who created HypnoFertility®?
Yes. A 2006 study from Soroka University in Israel found that hypnosis during IVF embryo transfer nearly doubled the clinical pregnancy rate, 52.8% versus 30.2%. I’ve compiled additional research on the Studies page.
Is there research supporting hypnosis for fertility?
Meditation and relaxation techniques are valuable. They just don’t go as deep. Hypnosis bypasses the critical faculty of the conscious mind and accesses the subconscious directly, which allows it to address specific emotional blocks and nervous system patterns that surface relaxation can’t reach.
How is HypnoFertility® different from meditation or relaxation?
Not at all. It’s designed to work alongside conventional fertility treatment. Many of my clients are simultaneously working with reproductive endocrinologists.
Does HypnoFertility® conflict with my medical treatment?

Yes. All sessions are conducted by phone or video. Clients come from across the United States and from more than 30 countries worldwide.
Where are you located? Can I work with you if I’m not in Colorado?
Sessions are one-on-one, by phone or video. The work is partly conversational and partly hypnotic. You’ll always know what’s happening and you’re in control throughout. Most clients find sessions deeply calming, even on difficult topics.
What does a session look like?
The primary HypnoFertility® conception program is 12 sessions. The first two are intake and foundation-building. Sessions are typically biweekly, adjusting around your cycle and circumstances.
How many sessions do I need?
Yes. The HypnoFertility® workshops offer the core method in a self-paced video format with instant access. A meaningful option if you’re not ready for the full private program.

About the Work
A spirit baby is the soul of a baby who hasn’t yet come into physical form, a presence a parent can sometimes sense before conception. Many of the women I work with say “I just know there is a baby there.” I believe them. This knowing has been part of my work since the very beginning.
What is a spirit baby?
The Pink StarLights are an extraordinary group of souls choosing to come to Earth at this particular time, often through challenging paths. They’ve been central to my work since 2016. My book Waiting in the Wings offers a fuller introduction.
What are the Pink StarLights?
No. Willingness and an open mind are all that’s required. If you can follow simple instructions and engage with the process, hypnosis can work for you.
Do I have to believe in hypnosis for it to work?
Yes. Sessions are completely confidential.
Is everything I share in sessions confidential?
Practical Questions
It’s not typically covered by insurance, but many clients use HSA or FSA funds. Please check your specific plan.
Is hypnotherapy covered by insurance?
I typically do not offer a sliding scale so that I can provide the highest quality service to my clients. I have created workshops for those seeking a lower cost option and highly recommend them. Please reach out to discuss your situation. My primary concern is that this work is accessible to those who need it.
