Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your information when you visit hypnofertility.com or send us a message. We have tried to write it the way we would explain it to you in person, without the legal padding.
If anything here is unclear, or you would rather just ask us directly, email office@hypnofertility.com. We would rather answer the question than have you wonder.
The short version
- We do not sell your information. We never have, and we do not intend to.
- Nothing optional loads on this site until you say it can. If you have not chosen accept on our cookie banner, our analytics and our video embeds stay switched off.
- The main thing we hold about you is what you typed into a form and sent us.
- You can ask us what we have, and ask us to delete it. Just email us.
What you tell us
If you fill in a form on this site, we receive what you typed. Depending on which form you used, that is:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, on our main contact forms
- Your general location, on the practitioner directory form
- Your message
On the forms attached to our programs, we also ask two open questions: where you are in your fertility journey, and what is drawing you to this work at this time.
We want to be straightforward about those two. People often answer them with things that are personal and medical, about treatment, loss, a diagnosis, or how long they have been trying. You are never required to share any of that with a web form. A sentence is plenty. Anything you would rather say out loud, save for the conversation. Whatever you do write is emailed to us and stored with your enquiry, exactly as you wrote it, and it is treated as confidential.
We do not ask for a date of birth, a home address, a medical record, or a payment card anywhere on this website.
Why we hold it
Because you asked us a question and we would like to answer it, and because we need to keep a record of the enquiries we have responded to. That is the whole reason. We do not build advertising profiles from it, and we do not add you to a mailing list. There is no newsletter signup on this site, and we will not put you on a list you did not ask to be on.
What happens to a form you send
- It arrives by email at office@hypnofertility.com, with your address set as the reply address so we can write straight back to you.
- A copy is saved in the website’s own database so we have a record of the enquiry.
- Our website sends that email through Postmark, an email delivery service that handles the message in transit on our behalf.
- A copy also goes to the contractor who looks after this website, so that enquiries do not get lost.
Alongside your message, our form software records which browser and which kind of device you used, and which page you were on when you sent it. That is for spotting broken forms and filtering junk. It does not record your IP address.
One form works differently, and you should know before you use it
The form for contacting a 3Keys Certified Practitioner does not send your message to us. It sends it directly to the practitioner you choose from the list, at their own email address. Those practitioners are independent therapists in their own practices, not employees of HypnoFertility, and once your message reaches them it is held under their own privacy practices, not ours. We receive a copy so we know the directory is working.
If you would rather not have your message go to an outside practitioner, use our ordinary contact form instead and we will help you directly.
Booking and courses happen somewhere else
When you click to book a session, you leave this website and land on Acuity Scheduling, where the appointment and the payment are handled. When you buy a course or a program, you leave for Kajabi. Neither of those is built into this site. We do not embed them, and we do not receive a copy of what you type into them.
That matters for one specific reason: this website never sees your card details. Payment happens off this site, on the scheduling and course platforms. Once you are on Acuity or Kajabi, their own privacy policies govern what happens there, and they are worth a look if you are curious.
Cookies and what runs on this site
When you first arrive, you will see a banner asking about your privacy choices. Nothing optional runs until you make a choice there. This is not a formality. We checked, and the analytics tag and the video embeds are physically prevented from loading until you consent.
The categories are:
- Essential. The things the site cannot work without, including the Cloudflare security check that keeps our forms from being flooded by bots. These are always on, because turning them off would break the site.
- Functional. Remembering preferences.
- Analytics. Google Analytics, described below.
- Marketing. In practice this only unlocks the YouTube videos embedded on some of our articles and press pages. If you decline, those videos will not play here, and you can always watch them on YouTube directly.
You can change your mind at any time. There is a Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page. Click it and the banner comes back with your current choices shown, and you can change them or withdraw your consent entirely.
Our Cookie Policy lists every individual cookie, what it is for, and how long it lasts.
When you make a choice on that banner, we keep a record of it: which categories you accepted, when, the country the request came from, and your IP address. We keep it so that we can show, if we are ever asked, that we had your permission before anything loaded.
The measuring we do
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they arrived from. We use it to work out which articles are useful and which pages confuse people.
We do not run advertising on this site. There is no Google Ads account connected, no AdSense, no Meta or Facebook pixel, and no cross-site advertising tracking of any kind. If you decline analytics, Google Analytics does not load at all.
Two other companies touch your visit for reasons that are not about marketing:
- Cloudflare sits in front of this website and delivers it to you. It also runs the security check on our forms that tells a person apart from a bot. To do that it receives your IP address and basic details about your request. Cloudflare is the reason one small cookie is set before you have chosen anything.
- Google, through Search Console, tells us which search terms bring people to the site. That reaches us already anonymised and grouped together by Google.
Who else sees your information
Nobody, beyond what is above. To put it plainly, the full list is:
- Lynsi and the HypnoFertility office
- The contractor who maintains this website
- Postmark, which delivers our email
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website
- Google Analytics, and only if you consented
- The individual practitioner you selected, if you used the directory form
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not trade it. If we were ever legally compelled to hand something over, we would comply with the law, and we would tell you unless we were forbidden from doing so.
How long we keep things
Records of the emails our website sends, including the text of those notifications, are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Enquiries you send through a form are kept in the website’s database so that we have a record of what we were asked and what we answered. We are still working out how long each kind of record should be kept, and we will state those periods on this page once they are settled. In the meantime, you can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.
Our online shop closed in 2026, and everything now sells through other platforms. Records of orders placed through that old shop are still held in the website’s database. If you bought from us then and would like your record removed, email us and we will take care of it.
Asking us what we have, and asking us to delete it
Email office@hypnofertility.com and tell us what you want. You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- send you a copy of it
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
We will do it, and we will not make it difficult. We may need to ask a question or two first to be confident that we are talking to the right person, because handing your information to somebody else by mistake would be worse than the inconvenience of checking.
One honest limit: if you have been a client, we may need to keep certain records for professional or accounting reasons even after you ask us to delete the rest. If that applies to you, we will say so, and we will tell you exactly what we are keeping and why.
About health information
We want to be clear about this rather than leave you guessing.
This website is not a medical records system. It is not connected to any insurer, health plan, or clinic system, and nothing you type into a form here becomes part of a medical record. What reaches us is an email and a saved copy of your enquiry.
What you tell Lynsi is confidential, and it is treated that way, whether you typed it into a form at midnight or said it out loud in a session. We are not going to discuss it, share it, or publish it.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will remove it.
Links out
We link to other places: Acuity, Kajabi, YouTube, our certified practitioners, published articles, and Google Maps for directions. Once you click through, you are on somebody else’s site under their rules. We have no control over what they do and cannot take responsibility for it.
When this page changes
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say what changed rather than quietly editing it.
